At first I was trying to login as 2 different users by simply creating incognito tabs. Didn't work. Had to use the "open cloud console" button to make it work. Also noticed that when I removed all view role from user2 (beginning of lab) user2 to would get a "failed to load" error when trying to access "compute -> vm instances" instead of some kind of access violation message.
